Since September 8, 2026 the Government of Canada applies a counter-tariff on U.S.-origin archery equipment and other goods. We pay it at the border and show it as its own line in your cart instead of hiding it in the price. It follows the quantity you order, and it never applies to our tariff-free brands.
The T.R.U. Ball Shooter is a wrist-strap release aid engineered specifically for youth archers, pairing a shorter overall length that suits smaller hands with the same fully-independent caliper jaws T.R.U. Ball builds into its adult releases. It comes in four bold colour combinations — Blue, Red, Green and Purple — each with black caliper jaws and a black trigger, and you choose either a black Velcro strap or a black leather buckle strap in Junior or Large.
Features
- Fully-independent standard caliper jaws — pull the trigger to open, let up to close. The jaws close silently to load and open evenly so the d-loop releases smoothly, minimizing torque for a cleaner, more consistent shot. Every set of jaws is tested before packaging.
- Flex Cord connection — a rope-style link between the release head and the wrist strap, fully adjustable to any length for minimal torque and a repeatable feel.
- Red rope connector — slide the red anchor fitting, adjust the rope and lock it back in place to fine-tune your anchor point anywhere along the rope.
- Travel adjustment — a single screw sets exactly how far the trigger travels before activation.
- Solid aluminum wrist strap T-connection — houses the rope connector and hinges so the release folds back and tucks into a sleeve, then redeploys quickly for the shot.
- Quick lock connection system — makes adjusting to your anchor point straightforward.
Strap options
- Velcro strap — infinitely adjustable with a secure hold, ideal for growing archers or anyone who wants a custom, snug fit.
- Leather buckle strap — sturdy top-grain leather with premium metal hardware and 8 sizing holes for a consistent, repeatable fit.
- Both strap styles feature neoprene padding for comfort; the buckle strap includes a built-in belt loop strap.
Sizing
Sizing relates to the approximate distance around the wrist:
- Velcro strap — Junior (JR) 6" to 7 3/4"; Large (L) 6" to 8 1/4".
- Leather buckle strap — Junior (JR) 5 1/4" to 7 3/4"; Large (L) 6" to 10".

- Blue, Red, Green and Purple release heads, each with black jaws and trigger.
Compatibility
A standard caliper wrist-strap release for compound bows shot with a d-loop. Colours may vary slightly from the photos.

You will not be left wondering. Once your order is in, we email you a status update every week until it ships — where it is, and what is next.
Need it by a certain date? Message us before you order and we will tell you exactly where that item stands.
Free pickup at either store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will have it ready, usually within 24 hours.
Shipping & returns
If we got it wrong, we make it right. If your order turns up damaged, faulty, or it simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and refund you in full. Send us a photo and we will sort it out — you should not be out a cent for our mistake.
Changed your mind? That is fine too. Send it back and we refund the full price of the product. Return shipping is on you in that case, and the gear has to come back to us complete and in sellable condition — unused, undamaged, with the packaging, parts and paperwork it arrived with. Once it lands and checks out, the full product price goes back on your card. Shipping is the only thing you are out.
Built-to-order gear is final sale. Custom arrows and anything else built to your spec cannot be resold, so we cannot take those back.
