Since September 8, 2026 the Government of Canada applies a counter-tariff on U.S.-origin archery equipment and other goods. We pay it at the border and show it as its own line in your cart instead of hiding it in the price. It follows the quantity you order, and it never applies to our tariff-free brands.

Not every archer has big hands, and a release that swims on your fingers costs you draw length and consistency. The T.R.U. Ball Champ is built the other way round: a compact head and jaws shrink the whole package so younger shooters, women, and anyone with smaller hands can reach full draw and load quickly and quietly. The 360° swivelling head lets the release find its own centre no matter the angle you come in from, so string torque stays out of the shot.

Engineered for you

Fully-independent standard caliper jaws — pull the trigger to open, let up to close. The jaws close silently to load and let the D-loop leave smoothly and evenly as they open, minimizing torque for a cleaner, more consistent shot. Each set of jaws is professionally tested before packaging.
Direct Connection thumb barrel — the knurled barrel mounts directly to the trigger for a secure grip, with 45° of rotational adjustment to dial in placement and comfort.
Travel adjustment screw — a single screw sets exactly how far the trigger travels before activation, so you control the release's responsiveness.
Built-in lanyard — the included lanyard slips around your wrist and keeps the release secure if you stand up or move quickly.

Fitment

The Champ is a hand-held release that attaches to a D-loop on the bowstring, so it works with any compound bow set up with a loop — no bow-specific fitment required. Its reduced size is aimed at smaller hands, making it a strong fit for youth and women's setups as well as hunters who prefer a shorter, faster-loading release.

You will not be left wondering. Once your order is in, we email you a status update every week until it ships — where it is, and what is next.

Need it by a certain date? Message us before you order and we will tell you exactly where that item stands.

Free pickup at either store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will have it ready, usually within 24 hours.

If we got it wrong, we make it right. If your order turns up damaged, faulty, or it simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and refund you in full. Send us a photo and we will sort it out — you should not be out a cent for our mistake.

Changed your mind? That is fine too. Send it back and we refund the full price of the product. Return shipping is on you in that case, and the gear has to come back to us complete and in sellable condition — unused, undamaged, with the packaging, parts and paperwork it arrived with. Once it lands and checks out, the full product price goes back on your card. Shipping is the only thing you are out.

Built-to-order gear is final sale. Custom arrows and anything else built to your spec cannot be resold, so we cannot take those back.
