Since September 8, 2026 the Government of Canada applies a counter-tariff on U.S.-origin archery equipment and other goods. We pay it at the border and show it as its own line in your cart instead of hiding it in the price. It follows the quantity you order, and it never applies to our tariff-free brands.

A long-running favourite in the T.R.U. Ball hand-held lineup, the Boss X is a dual-caliper thumb release built around a head that rotates freely through 360°. Because the head finds its own position at full draw, it takes torque out of the equation regardless of how your hand sits on the grip. Trigger travel and sensitivity adjust separately, the thumb barrel repositions to suit your hand, and grooved finger beds give you something to hold onto — so you can dial the release in and leave it there.

Features

360° swivel head with dual caliper jaws — the freely rotating head self-aligns to minimise torque, and the dual caliper design opens evenly so the D-loop comes off cleanly and consistently.
1/2" ergonomic head — easy to open and close, and quiet when loading.
Separate trigger and travel adjustment — a single travel screw sets exactly how far the trigger moves before it fires, with locking set screws to hold your setting.
Sensitivity adjustment — tighten the sensitivity screw to add trigger resistance or back it off to lighten it.
Hardened stainless steel firing mechanism — tempered internals resist deformation and reduce friction for a crisp, durable, repeatable break.
Multi-positional thumb barrel and teardrop — the knurled thumb barrel offers 90° of rotational adjustment, and the teardrop links it to the firing mechanism for easy fine-tuning.
Grooved finger beds — machined grooves across the finger beds add grip.
Small, quiet cocking lever — low-profile and discreet in the field.

You will not be left wondering. Once your order is in, we email you a status update every week until it ships — where it is, and what is next.

Need it by a certain date? Message us before you order and we will tell you exactly where that item stands.

Free pickup at either store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will have it ready, usually within 24 hours.

If we got it wrong, we make it right. If your order turns up damaged, faulty, or it simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and refund you in full. Send us a photo and we will sort it out — you should not be out a cent for our mistake.

Changed your mind? That is fine too. Send it back and we refund the full price of the product. Return shipping is on you in that case, and the gear has to come back to us complete and in sellable condition — unused, undamaged, with the packaging, parts and paperwork it arrived with. Once it lands and checks out, the full product price goes back on your card. Shipping is the only thing you are out.

Built-to-order gear is final sale. Custom arrows and anything else built to your spec cannot be resold, so we cannot take those back.
