The Assassin XT is T.R.U. Ball's workhorse hunting release — a fully independent dual-caliper head on a solid in-line body, hung off a Globo-Swivel connector so it hangs out of the way until you need it. Originally a Best Buy award winner, it has kept getting better: pull the trigger to open the jaws, let up to close, and the d-loop runs out clean and even every shot. Pick your strap style and wrist size and it is ready to hunt.

Key features

Fully independent standard caliper jaws — jaws close silently to load and open evenly to minimize torque on the d-loop. Every jaw set is tested before packaging.
Solid in-line body — bridges wrist to jaw and guides the hand into a straight, steady path to the target for repeatable form.
Globo-Swivel connection — a solid steel round connector in a durable wrist-strap mount, adjustable in 3/16" increments for finger length and then locked down with dual screws.
Travel adjustment — a single screw sets exactly how far the trigger travels before it fires.
X-Tra Tough grip — textured T.R.U. Ball grip that stays put from draw through release.

Strap options

Camo Velcro strap — infinitely adjustable hook-and-loop closure for a custom, snug fit; ideal for growing archers.
Black leather buckle strap — top-grain leather with metal hardware and 8 sizing holes for a repeatable fit, plus a built-in belt-loop strap.
Ultra black buckle strap — black leather buckle strap in the Ultra configuration.
Both strap styles use neoprene padding for comfort under the wrist.

Sizing (approximate wrist circumference)

Velcro strap — Junior (JR) 6"–7 3/4"; Large (L) 6"–8 1/4"; X-Large (XL) 7"–9 1/2".
Buckle strap — Junior (JR) 5 1/4"–7 3/4"; Large (L) 6"–10".

Fit and compatibility

A standard caliper wrist-strap release for compound bows shot off a d-loop. The Globo-Swivel connector length is adjustable in 3/16" increments, so the Assassin XT can be tuned to your draw length and finger position rather than swapped for a different model. Colour shown: black release head on all strap styles.

You will not be left wondering. Once your order is in, we email you a status update every week until it ships — where it is, and what is next.

Need it by a certain date? Message us before you order and we will tell you exactly where that item stands.

Free pickup at either store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will have it ready, usually within 24 hours.

If we got it wrong, we make it right. If your order turns up damaged, faulty, or it simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and refund you in full. Send us a photo and we will sort it out — you should not be out a cent for our mistake.

Changed your mind? That is fine too. Send it back and we refund the full price of the product. Return shipping is on you in that case, and the gear has to come back to us complete and in sellable condition — unused, undamaged, with the packaging, parts and paperwork it arrived with. Once it lands and checks out, the full product price goes back on your card. Shipping is the only thing you are out.

Built-to-order gear is final sale. Custom arrows and anything else built to your spec cannot be resold, so we cannot take those back.
