Since September 8, 2026 the Government of Canada applies a counter-tariff on U.S.-origin archery equipment and other goods. We pay it at the border and show it as its own line in your cart instead of hiding it in the price. It follows the quantity you order, and it never applies to our tariff-free brands.

The Axcel Contour is a finger tab built with Olympic and world-champion archer Brady Ellison, and it is the tab to reach for when you want your string fingers to land in exactly the same place every single shot. Patent-pending finger beds hold consistent finger spacing so you can shoot more arrows, more often, with less fatigue — and the rear palm extender, adjustable shelf and adjustable spacer let you dial the fit to your own hand rather than adapting your hand to the tab.

Adjustable shelf that doubles as a thumb rest for improved grip and form.
Adjustable finger spacer — an anodized, ergonomic spacer with a single adjustment screw to lengthen or shorten its distance from the palm, so the spacer sits right between the fingers as they separate.
Black nitride finish — the finger beds are high-quality aluminum with a black nitride anodized coating to reduce wear and tarnish.

Outer layer: premium cordovan leather for a smooth release.
Middle layer: rubber for comfort and shock absorption.
Inner layer: suede leather for a soft, secure fit against the fingers.

Choosing your size

Axcel sizes the Contour off measurement "A" — the distance between the centre of your pointer and ring finger grooves. Mark a dot in the first knuckle crease of each finger, place a marker between your pointer and middle finger, then measure between the dots: Small 36–44 mm (1⁷⁄₁₆–1³⁄₄"), Medium 41–47 mm (1⁵⁄₈–1⁷⁄₈"), Large 44–51 mm (1³⁄₄–2"), X-Large 48–57 mm (1⁷⁄₈–2¹⁄₄"). Compatibility

A finger-release tab for recurve and barebow archers shooting off the string with fingers. Order the dexterity that matches your drawing hand: right-handed archers (those who draw with the right hand) take the right-handed tab, left-handed archers the left-handed tab. Replacement leather is available separately as the Axcel Contour Leather Replacement Set.

You will not be left wondering. Once your order is in, we email you a status update every week until it ships — where it is, and what is next.

Need it by a certain date? Message us before you order and we will tell you exactly where that item stands.

Free pickup at either store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will have it ready, usually within 24 hours.

If we got it wrong, we make it right. If your order turns up damaged, faulty, or it simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and refund you in full. Send us a photo and we will sort it out — you should not be out a cent for our mistake.

Changed your mind? That is fine too. Send it back and we refund the full price of the product. Return shipping is on you in that case, and the gear has to come back to us complete and in sellable condition — unused, undamaged, with the packaging, parts and paperwork it arrived with. Once it lands and checks out, the full product price goes back on your card. Shipping is the only thing you are out.

Built-to-order gear is final sale. Custom arrows and anything else built to your spec cannot be resold, so we cannot take those back.
