Bowhunters put up with the same vibration and hand shock target archers do, but rarely get the same grade of gear. The Axcel Antler Ridge 550 CarboFlax Hunting Stabilizer borrows the construction used in the Acclaim series tournament bars and shrinks it into hunting-friendly lengths, so you get tournament-level stiffness on a bar short enough to live in a treestand or a ground blind.

CarboFlax bio-composite construction

Rather than build the bar from carbon alone, Axcel layers natural flax fibres underneath Ultra High Modulus carbon. Flax carries roughly three times the vibration dampening of glass and about 20% more than carbon, so the bar kills buzz on its own before any dampener is added. The result is a thin .550" profile that stays stiff, cuts wind resistance, and is the stiffest bar Axcel offers in that diameter.

Kryptós Arc Vibration Dampener

The patented Kryptós Arc works like an accordion to pull Z-axis vibration out of the bar before it reaches your hand. Its arc-shaped coils traverse over one another instead of smashing together, which dampens more efficiently than a straight coil design.

Fitment

Threads into the standard stabilizer bushing on the riser of a compound bow. Shorter 6" and 8" bars suit tight quarters and blind hunting; the 10" and 12" bars add more forward stability for open-country and longer shots. Weights are removable, so front-end mass can be tuned to your setup.

Free pickup at either store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will have it ready, usually within 24 hours.

If we got it wrong, we make it right. If your order turns up damaged, faulty, or it simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and refund you in full. Send us a photo and we will sort it out — you should not be out a cent for our mistake.

Changed your mind? That is fine too. Send it back and we refund the full price of the product. Return shipping is on you in that case, and the gear has to come back to us complete and in sellable condition — unused, undamaged, with the packaging, parts and paperwork it arrived with. Once it lands and checks out, the full product price goes back on your card. Shipping is the only thing you are out.

Built-to-order gear is final sale. Custom arrows and anything else built to your spec cannot be resold, so we cannot take those back.
