The T.R.U. Ball Aileron HBC Flex was named Best New Release at the 2025 ATA Show, and it earned that on one idea: it is the first release aid with a 2nd axis adjustment. Adjustable Aileron finger beds let you point the release head straight at the target instead of fighting the angle your hand naturally wants to sit at, so the torque that quietly wrecks groups never gets introduced in the first place. Add the patented Comfort Flex finger system and an all-brass handle machined in-house, and you have a centrepiece of the Reo Wilde Signature Series that fits your hand rather than the other way round.
Key features
- Aileron finger tabs - adjustable finger beds fine-tune in exact increments to suit any hand size. This 2nd axis adjustment aligns the release head directly with the target, reducing torque.
- Comfort Flex 3rd finger - patented system giving 30 degrees of radial rotation (15 forward, 15 back) in the 1st axis for a personalised fit.
- Optional fourth finger extension - adds a further 30 degrees of rotation (sold separately).
- All-brass handle - U.S.-sourced brass, precision-machined in-house and hand-assembled.
- Micro-adjust speed dial - single-screw adjustment; clockwise to increase speed, counterclockwise to decrease.
- Adjustable thumb peg - three distinct thumb peg positions to customise your grip.
- Tapered ergonomic handle - shaped to sit securely and comfortably in the hand under heavy load.
- Built-in lanyard - included wrist lanyard keeps the release secure if you stand or move quickly.

Need it by a certain date? Message us before you order and we will tell you exactly where that item stands.
Free pickup at either store. Choose pickup at checkout and we will have it ready, usually within 24 hours.
Shipping & returns
If we got it wrong, we make it right. If your order turns up damaged, faulty, or it simply is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and refund you in full. Send us a photo and we will sort it out — you should not be out a cent for our mistake.
Changed your mind? That is fine too. Send it back and we refund the full price of the product. Return shipping is on you in that case, and the gear has to come back to us complete and in sellable condition — unused, undamaged, with the packaging, parts and paperwork it arrived with. Once it lands and checks out, the full product price goes back on your card. Shipping is the only thing you are out.
Built-to-order gear is final sale. Custom arrows and anything else built to your spec cannot be resold, so we cannot take those back.
